Robert W. Monster leads Monster Venture Partners (MVP), an early-stage venture capital firm based in Seattle, focused on Global Technology opportunities in the area of Consumer Healthcare, Market Research, and Internet Marketing.
Mr. Monster was the Founder of GMI (Global Market Insite, Inc.), a leading provider of technology-enabled services to the global market research industry. Mr. Monster served as Chairman and CEO from 1999-2007, during which time GMI achieved annual revenue growth of 100+% per year and served customers in more than 60 countries. GMI is backed by Technology Crossover Ventures, FT Ventures and Voyager Capital.
Prior to founding GMI, Mr. Monster was a global product development manager with Procter & Gamble. During an eight year technology management career with P&G, Mr. Monster worked and lived in Europe, Asia, and North America. He also traveled extensively in Latin America as part of his global role in leading the development and commercialization of a series of successful new product initiatives.
Mr. Monster, a Dutch-American, is fluent in English, Dutch, and German. Mr. Monster has both a BS and an MBA from Cornell University where he studied Life Sciences and Economics. Mr. Monster is a member of ESOMAR - World Association of Research Professionals. Mr. Monster is co-author of the book "Market Research in the Internet Age", published by John Wiley & Sons.
Mr. Monster is winner of the 2005 Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year award in Technology and Software (Pacific Northwest). He serves on the boards of GMI, Healthcare.com, Demoxi, Inc., and Clickable.com.
Jim Adler

Prior to founding Demoxi, Jim was President of Dategrity, an e-commerce company specializing in cryptographic solutions for individual privacy protection and information control. Prior to Dategrity, Jim was the founder and CEO of VoteHere, a company that pioneered the development of technologies for private and secure electronic voting, both online and offline. Under his management, VoteHere developed groundbreaking cryptographic technology resulting in 50 issued patents, and deployed that technology in over 200 secure and private elections for 15 million voters worldwide.
Mr. Adler is widely regarded as an expert in the fields of cryptography, security, and e-voting. He has testified before state and federal legislatures on the subject of electronic voting, served on California's groundbreaking 1999 Internet Voting Task Force, and is involved in defining certification procedures for electronic voting systems around the world. Recently, he co-chaired the IEEE voter-verification standards committee, which defined national standards as part of the Help America Vote Act of 2002. In December 2003, he spoke on the e-voting machine controversy at the National Institute on Standards and Technology symposium on Building Trust and Confidence in Voting Systems. In July 2004, he was called to testify to a US House Government Reform Subcommittee on e-voting security. He has been interviewed and quoted by major newspapers, TV, magazines, and has published extensively.
Early in his career, Mr. Adler developed pioneering patented digital signature technology for Scientific Atlanta, and was a senior engineer in Advanced Avionics at General Dynamics Space Systems Division (now a division of Lockheed Martin). Mr. Adler received his BS in electrical engineering with High Honors from the University of Florida and his MS in electrical engineering from the University of California, San Diego.
Tom Brubaker

Prior to joining Demoxi, Tom Brubaker was the vice president of sales for PreparedResponse Inc. and was responsible for growing new business revenue 100% year over year in 3 years, establishing new customers in 11 states in the public sector, closing million-dollar contract revenue deals and launching new products. Brubaker formerly worked at Microsoft Corporation, Hewlett Packard and Visio Corporation in product and program management, sales, and licensing, where his successes helped accelerate the emergence of portable computing and personal messaging. He received his MBA from the University of Washington.
Craig Muller

Craig Muller brings a strong background in credit, fraud and identity services. He brings a deep understanding of customers’ needs for identity protection and has broad experience developing, marketing and launching products in the information marketplace. Muller led various teams at Experian where he developed strategic partnerships with information service providers, created customer loyalty programs and led the development of information solutions for the automotive industry. Previously, Muller was with The Polk Company and Rentrac Information Systems, a start-up company. During his first three years with Experian, Muller was credited with tripling response rates to direct marketing promotions and growing revenue by over 200% in his business unit. He earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Boston University with a Finance concentration.
John Lawler

John Lawler joins Demoxi with nearly 20 years experience managing the development, marketing, and launch of complex technologies, especially computer and network security products and services. He brings with him a strong technical and business background not just in security but also in identity management, multi-service wired and wireless data networks, and IT infrastructure. Most recently, Mr. Lawler was at Microsoft, where he led market positioning and messaging for the Microsoft Forefront family of business security products, helping to build it into one of Microsoft’s fastest growing businesses. Prior to that, John held senior positions in a number of security technology companies, including Preview Systems, Concentric Networks, and VPNet Technologies. He received his BS in electrical engineering from the University of Notre Dame.
Andrew Berg

Andrew Berg brings to Demoxi a much-needed sense of irreverence, intelligence and rugged good looks. He has also spent the last twenty years designing and implementing networked applications, focusing on security, reliability and performance. Prior to joining Demoxi, Andrew spent many years at VoteHere trying to bring secure, auditable elections to a market that just could not understand the idea of an audit. Prior to that, he worked at Cavedog Entertainment and Chili!Soft, making any manner of exciting products! Andrew holds a Master's of Science in Computer Science from the University of Washington.
David Freedman

David Freedman brings to Demoxi over 20 years of operational management experience in IT, financial, market research and customer relations. More recently, as Director of Panel Operations at Global Market Insite (GMI), David honed his skills in developing a career focused on building and supporting online communities and enhanced the online community experience. During his four year tenure at GMI, he facilitated a twenty-fold increase in panel growth to over six million online survey takers, while managing a team of 65 support professionals. David received his Bachelor of Business (Accounting) from the University of Melbourne, Australia.
